I’ve recently talked about what you can do to quench dry skin, but I haven’t spoke about one of my biggest skin insecurities. I have eczema. So, if you’re someone who deals with eczema, burns, rashes, or psoriasis, then keep on reading!
As I said in a previous post — throughout the year, I go through many phases of dry skin. In winter months, my skin is incredibly dehydrated but in the summer months, I’m almost too oily.
That, coupled with the fact that my skin is incredibly sensitive, made it very difficult for me to find remedies for my affected areas. I’ve had it everywhere — on my hands, on my face, the inside of my elbow, as well as my knees. It was so bad that when I had it on my finger for 4 years, it was so hard to even just wash my hands. I would wince in pain because the water would end up being too hot or too cold and I could feel it to the extreme. As well, when my eczema would dry, it would crack each time I bent my finger.
I have tried every topical cream prescribed to me by my doctor — a lot of which contained steroids. The routine back then was: apply the cream in the evening, and wrap it with plastic wrap overnight, take it off in the morning, rinse, apply the cream, and wrap it for the day, and so on. 4 years! I had done that every single day until it finally went away.
I went through that. But I don’t want anyone else to have to go through it. So I want to talk about this new product that I think is changing the game for people with eczema.
Add this eczema relief into your daily routine
Of course, you’ll need to use it routinely to see any sort of result. The Satya Organic Eczema Relief balm is packaged into a mini glass jar and is a light brown/golden colour. It’s stiff in the jar, but with warm fingers or using a small spatula, it’s easy to apply.
How it feels
As something that treats tough and dry skin, you’d expect the product to be thick and creamy — but this is the opposite. It’s light, easy to apply, and I still feel like my skin can breathe beneath it. Don’t be fooled though! Although it’s not thick and creamy, it does not fall short on moisture or restorative properties.
What it does
Using only natural ingredients (listed below), the Satya Organic Eczema Relief balm does exactly as it says. It relieves the inflammation, flaking, irritation, and itchiness that comes with eczema, all while still retaining moisture. And, as a bonus, if you have any dry skin patches, it helps restore suppleness and repairs damaged skin.
In my experience using it, my eczema went away in just two weeks of using this twice daily.
When it was on my face, I would use it first before I put on makeup for the day, and the second time after taking my makeup off and cleansing my face.

Eczema solution created by a mother
The company, Satya Organic Skin Care, was actually created by a mother looking to treat her baby daughter’s eczema without the use of steroid cortisone cream. With heavy research and a crock-pot, she came up with a medicinal balm that is now USDA certified organic.
The Satya Organic Eczema Relief balm is more than a moisturizer, doesn’t use any topical steroids, and can now be found in over 800 stores across Canada.
